Handwoven tapestry / Nude

A handwoven tapestry made with naturally colored, un-dyed Polish highlander wool on natural unbleached linen warp. Exploring the subject of “nude” both in material and the representation.

The warp ends are braided together. Loose ends are secured but not woven in. This tapestry is weft-facing, thick and stable. It can be framed, hang up on the wall with pins / small nails or held up with paper binder clips.

Based on a live nude drawing I made in 2015.
