Frame loom weaving: I made this beautiful handwoven scarf on a lap loom!

I couldn’t wait to show you my finished scarf! Handwoven on our own Kaliko frame loom, I shared a tutorial here. It only took a few hours to finish, so it’s a perfect quick project for two or three winter evenings.

I used my own plant dyed wool yarns (madder for pink and indigo for blue) and naturally colored grey wool donated by @mosskeramik a long time ago. Two colors for warp (vertical threads) and three for weft (horizontal threads) give checkered result.

For much more beautiful examples of handwoven scarves visit @twill_hill - her work is amazing. And if you get inspired, tag me in your posts, I’d love to see what you make! Who’s warping their looms for a scarf this month?? 🙋🏻‍♀️
